FONDA

Fonda is a table with almost archetypal lines, shaped by a soft, rounded reinterpretation of simple geometric forms.

Its rounded base is made from solid-coloured concrete and supports a cylindrical metal structure that holds the tabletop, available in MDF or laminate. The combination of materials makes Fonda suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings, from interiors and verandas to terraces, patios and other open-air spaces.

The name Fonda comes from nautical terminology. In Italian, a boat that is anchored is said to be “alla fonda”. The substantial concrete base acts much like an anchor, firmly grounding the table and giving it a strong sense of stability and presence.
